I’m feeling disgruntled this morning, and I have the left to blame for it.
See, I have boiled down all of the bits and pieces that make up the left, and I think I can sum up my problem with the left in just one sentence:
“The leftist Democrats make our lives difficult.”
It is, in fact, that simple. I mean, think about it. Despite the fact that the left claims to be working for us all the time, how often do they do something that doesn’t add to the burden or make our lives more difficult in one way or another? Ok ok, so it’s a very selective effort, and if you’re a “disadvantaged” group you may feel differently about the left, but as for the rest of us, the “free abortions for all, but no smoking or trans fats for the rest of you” attitude gets a bit tiresome. I’m going to keep this short and sweet. After reading this article from CNN, I can’t help but to ask where the pro-choice crowd is on this? After all, didn’t this mother exercise her right to manage her own body and babies? What is the difference between the late term “dilate and extract” abortion and what this woman did?
Or is the pro-choice crowd simply selective in their demands? They demand women’s rights so long as it fits their mold, otherwise it’s just murder, right? Where is the line drawn?

Lately, I have been called racist ad nauseum. In fact, the racial accusations seemed to start as soon as soon as I really became an outspoken conservative and have only gotten worse thereafter. Strangely, I have never considered myself a racist. I have always found the accusations to be a mystery, because they seem to stem simply from the fact that I: a) Take pride in being a white American; and b) Don’t believe there should be any racial separations.
As to how those two things make me racist is beyond me, yet the lefterds out there feel the bizarre compulsion to accuse me anyway. Yet, turn the finger around and call them racist and see what happens. It’s always an ugly scene, which tells me that perhaps they’re the ones who are racist and are in such denial that the mere hint of an accusation ignites the usual democrat flareup of hate and anger.
So, here I go again. The liberal left - those liberal democrats who pride themselves on being so open minded to everything - are the racist bastards out there who are working every day to keep the racial divide alive and well in America. Read the rest of this entry »

Ok, so thanks to Mad Mouser for covering this first, but I couldn’t help but to take it on myself. I don’t think I have ever been so… So… So something. Shocked? Sickened? Nauseated?
Before continuing, view the list here. Make sure you note beautiful person #4.
I’m not sure what the selection criteria was, but somebody really dropped the ball with this one. The only notable exception was the fact that Hillary didn’t make the list, which is good because she isn’t beautiful outside or inside. On the other hand, how did Nancy Pelosi make #4?? She is not an attractive woman, and she has the personality and attitude of a toad, so as to how she made #4 is a mystery to me. Just look through 11-50. There are some genuine beauties out there who are probably good people to boot, so just how did Pelosi the Toad oust them from the top 10… The top 5??!
It nauseates me. I think I just threw up a little bit in the back of my throat.
Interestingly, where is Rep. Michele Bachman? She’s certainly more attractive than the Toad and she’s pretty decent too…

As some of you might know, but most probably don’t, I work in the manufacturing industry. I have for a while. I happen to work on the engineering/test side of manufacturing, but it’s manufacturing none-the-less. It also happens that the technology we engineer and produce is a specialized product and we compete on the global market in what we do. I’m one of the lucky ones. For every specialized niche company like mine, there are dozens that disappear thanks to cheap overseas labor. Believe me, I know the score. My last job dried up thanks to just that. The company had been part of the community for over 35 years, but in the end they just couldn’t keep up.
With that said, there is one part of my job that is more important than every other thing that I do there. Once I finish with a unit, and after I polish it up and sign off the quality certificate, I carefully place a “Made With Pride in America” decal in the corner. It’s a pretty foil decal with a flag and our company name on it, but it’s the meaning that’s so important to it, and something that is so quickly ignored and forgotten these days.
I look at other products and find the little “Made in…” stamped or printed on them, and realize that there was no pride that went into that product. Even though I don’t build my company’s product, I know each and every person who was involved - from the engineer who designed it to the women who wired it to the people who built the circuit cards… The last place they go before getting carefully boxed up is to me, and after I run them through their paces and make any modifications or adjustments that need to be done, I go over every screw and wire, making sure everything is straight and tight and that every wire tie is neatly trimmed. Once I finish, I carefully square off the “Made in America” sticker and lay it down making sure there aren’t any air bubbles caught underneath it.
Why do I do that? Because it’s a sign of pride. This unit could be going to Japan or Germany or Malaysia… Or it could be going to Montana or California for all that matters. Either way, whoever opens that box knows that their unit was carefully built with pride by American workers in an American company. Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s a little Friday afternoon news from the Twilight Zone…
Yep, in a bizarre travesty of justice, Nicholas and Alexander Grunke and Dustin Radke had the sexual assault charges against them dropped because Wisconsin doesn’t have any necrophilia laws. Read the rest of this entry »

Have you heard of these guys? I hadn’t until today, when I saw a press release from them that they are planning to protest in Madison as they demand health care for all. Interesting. It would seem that good ol’ Michael Moore’s film, Sicko, has spawned a psychotic fan club who goes around demanding health care.
You can read the whole press release here, otherwise I’ll just touch on some of the nuttier claims by this band of idiots.
To start with, they say:
“We demand that the Wisconsin Assembly hold public hearings to discuss the crisis in Wisconsin’s health care system”
Which of course, drives me to wonder… What crisis? Did I miss something out there? I mean, I live here in Wisconsin, and I don’t see a crisis. Since every socialist group out there has different numbers, I have no idea what the real estimate of uninsured in Wisconsin is, but it’s hardly a crisis. I have seen every number from 200,000 to 500,000… Either way, is this a crisis? I want more facts. How many can afford it and decide not to have it? How many are too concerned with drugs and alcohol? How many people are just wastes? The “crisis” is 100% fabricated. Read the rest of this entry »

Every once in a while I feel the need to throws some good news out there. Namely because I tend to focus so much on the bad things out there, but also because I think people (myself included) need to be reminded once in a while that things aren’t all bad out there.
With that said…
An 11-year old boy in Oshkosh, Wisconsin had built himself a lemonade stand so he could make some money for a camping trip with his grandparents and buy his mother a birthday present. It’s a typical story and something that most of us can identify with, having done that sort of things ourselves in our younger years.
However, not all of us had to deal with the dredges of society. On Tuesday, 11-year old Austin Cundy was punched and pushed off of his chair by a 17-year old who then took off with his jar of money and his wallet. Although the teen only made off with $20, the damage was much more than monetary in nature.
However, the story doesn’t end there. Thankfully, the outpouring of community support for Austin has been massive. He has received cards with money, people offering to give him the $20 he lost and even business owners offering to allow Austin to set up lemonade stands at their businesses.
I think it’s wonderful that people are willing to help out and support a little boy. I think it makes all the difference if children are shown that there is good in the world. Maybe that’s the difference between a small community in Wisconsin and bigger urban areas. It’s a lesson in values that everybody can learn from.
Maybe there’s hope for this country after all.

This was an editorial cartoon from the Wisconsin Capital Times. It makes me physically sick that these morons have the audacity to make a comparison like this. Where does it end?

I don’t know how many female readers I have out there, but I feel the need to address a topic that I am hoping some of the women out there can help me out with.
After suffering a brutal personal attack at the hands of a very righteous and holier-than-thou individual regarding my take on boy/girl physical contact (as posted earlier here), I got to thinking… Am I the righteous one who’s thinking is off, or am I right to think that women (girls) aren’t quite as fragile as this guy claims?
The truth of the matter is that my thinking isn’t black and white when it comes to things like this. When it comes to this topic, I have been accused by several parties as advocating that violence against women is acceptable, that rape is acceptable and that I apparently feel that women are just pieces of meat for me to use sexually. That is black and white thinking, and interestingly enough the only people who have attacked me are men. Of course, none of those accusations are in the least bit true. Read the rest of this entry »
