Thanks to Crush Liberalism for bringing this story to light. For those who haven’t visited his site, it’s worth a visit.
Getting to it… While I may be beating a dead horse here when it comes to SCHIP, I have to admit that I will not only beat the horse, I will pulverize it and make sure it is nothing more than glue by the time I’m done with it. And then I’m going to use that very same glue to fasten liberal heads to asses and kick them into the sea. That is how pissed off I am with this SCHIP fiasco.
With that said, I am fascinated with the depth of lies that spew forth from the mouths of these liberal turds. And when you call them on it they defend their lies under more lies. Facts and, well, reality mean nothing to these guys. Even when you slap them with facts from their own publications they will come up with excuses as to why those numbers are wrong while the numbers that they have are right… As if they have some secret source of information that requires the liberal decoder ring that only they can obtain once they embrace Paul Wellstone and swear off capitalism and free will once and for all.
So they then take their secret messages to the masses and try to spread their web of lies and deceit; all the while rubbing their dirty little hands together thinking that they are getting something over on the rest of us because we don’t have the secret decoder rings.
From Crush Liberalism, here is the latest lie of interest:
“Quick background info: the Dems ran a kid named Graeme Frost in a commercial to point out how those mean ol’ nasty Republicans hate poor children like him. Turns out, he’s far from poor. D’oh!”
Oh really? So in essence, the dems can’t even adequately lie to cover a lie. Or maybe the dems tipped their hand once again in their beliefs as to who should be considered poor and who should be eligible for SCHIP (400% FPL anybody?). But where does that put poor Graeme Frost, the seventh grader who the dems chose to push policy with the general public? Is he really a victim of the Bush administration’s cold hand?
Here is what the dems told us:
“Bonnie Frost works for a medical publishing firm; her husband, Halsey, is a woodworker. They are raising their four children on combined income of about $45,000 a year. Neither gets health insurance through work.”
And here is the reality of the situation (read the whole article at NRO):
“Mr Frost, the “woodworker”, owns his own design company and the commercial property it operates from, part of which space he also rents out; they have a 3,000-sq-ft home on a street where a 2,000-sq-ft home recently sold for half a million dollars; he was able to afford to send two children simultaneously to a $20,000-a-year private school; his father and grandfather were successful New York designers and architects; etc. This is apparently the new definition of ‘working families.’”
So… Are we supposed to feel sorry for the Frost family? The dems sure paint a sad story here, but it’s sad story chalk full of misconception and is representative of the dem’s mentality that priorities mean nothing (i.e. why should you have to pay for your kid’s health insurance and for their $20k/yr private schooling?). I mean, really, screw personal accountability, right? You should have the right to spend your money as you see fit and the government should provide the essentials so you don’t have to.
Aurgh! It makes my head hurt just thinking about how much these underhanded bastards piss me off. Is it too much to ask that they fight like real men (and yes, a large portion of democrat women could be considered men too)? Come out and fight and stop hiding behind your lies and your children you yellow-bellied freaks. Unless of course you don’t think that you can win your battles by telling the truth… So which way is it going to be?

Thanks for the trackback, Arc. These bastards know no shame, do they?
The smoking lamp is lit ! You are fired up man. Good read. Malkin has a good post today too but don’t go there you’d probably blow a gasket.
I’m gonna do the math a bit later. I’m curious if I’d qualify. If I do should I quit my job or just drop the insurance. I ask because I REALLY hate the public schools my way to high property taxes support and would love my kids to go private.
I read about this on Michelle Malkins newsletter this morning and got all excited like a 10 year old with the newest toy in town. I was gonna come here and brag about it and tell everyone what I found out with my chest way out in the air.
Good job man !
BTW 82.6k I’m in.
I think most of us would be in with those sorts of numbers. Yet I don’t think any of us would consider ourselves impoverished, right?
Thanks for pointing out the Michelle Malkin article too. I’m glad that this crap is getting out in the open. Pretty soon there will be too many lies exposed for them to cover up and they’ll actually have to tell the truth.
I think.
I googled Graeme Frost and came up with Nancy pelosis web site.
This is very interesting. Most informed people now know about the ridiculous income bracket requirments, but also the age brackets.
The least Pelosi could do is try to justify these terms.
Instead they are not even mentioned. This page http://www.speaker.gov/legislation?id=0090 is a great to tool for confrontation on the grounds of omitting the truth and being obviously and intentionally deceptive.
I forgot the teaser sample
http://www.speaker.gov/legislation?id=0090
Is fully paid for – by raising the tobacco tax by 61 cents a pack. The higher the cost of cigarettes, the less likely kids will take up smoking. According to the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, a 61-cent increase in the tobacco tax means that 1,873,000 fewer children will take up smoking.
Fully paid for ?
Well, Nancy Pelosi is despicable anyway. But that’s besides the point. Notice how they never bother to mention the cigar tax increase? Funny how they fail to mention the $10 per cigar tax increase… I guess they want to mask the fact that they are going after a lifestyle rather than kids smoking. More lies compounded with lies!
And as we have been talking about before, what happens when they kill smoking? The program will no longer be “fully funded” will it? Then what? Remember the figure of 22.4 million new smokers needed to fully fund SCHIP? How can they make a program that is dependent upon new smokers while also trying to stamp them out?
And furthermore… WHY in the hell aren’t more people outraged that these assholes are using kids for political gain? WHEN did it ever seem OK to parade children around in front of cameras and force them to read scripts written by democrat spinsters? Why aren’t more people (especially parents) blowing their top at this sort of abuse???
