If there is one thing that the global warming scam has taught us, it’s that it’s time to walk away from the United Nations and be done with their global collectivism once and for all. Their time has come and gone, and whatever the UN once was, they are no longer.
I have been watching all of the news reports coming out of the UN global warming conference in Bali and each one is worse than the last. The message coming from Bali isn’t one of environmentalism; rather the message is that the “rich” nations have a duty to take care of developing nations through money and technology. Of course these demands are being masked behind the guise of global warming and climate change, but the message is clear: to “save the world” we need to give more money.
To which I reply with just two simple words:
Bull Shit.
The United Nations has turned into an organization who’s purpose is to redistribute the world’s wealth and create one big happy planet with a “level playing field” so that all nations can enjoy the benefits of our labor. Sound familiar? It should. This is the message that we have been hearing from the left for ages, and now they have a tool and a cause with which to try to push their agenda on the entire globe.
Has anybody taken a long, hard look at the makeup of the UN lately? They are a little heavy in developing nations these days, which alone should make the rest of us question their objectivity and honesty. Many of the nations who have seats are not exactly “America friendly” and would like to see us suffer for, well, for being us. With this in mind, does anybody really think that the United Nations does things or makes decisions with the developed West’s best interests in mind?
No, of course not. They are going to work to better their own nations; and if they can do it at our expense, all the better.
The Big Green money trail aside, the UN’s role in global warming and climate change is one of a global redistribution of wealth and technology. Is there any better (or deceitful) vehicle for this redistribution than “saving the planet?” It’s a near-perfect plan. Save the world, punish the developed West, prop up the developing nations… There is only one major flaw here, and that is people like us who see right through their insidious plans. Sure we may have hearts of stone, but these cold hearts give s the objectivity necessary to see through the bullshit.
When you see headlines like this coming from Bali:
- Help us combat global warming: Poor nations
- Indonesia: Climate change ‘affects human rights’
- Bali: Poor Countries Demand Climate Change Aid
- Tech transfer to tame climate change
- Rich countries asked to fund poor countries adapting to climate change
- At Bali conference, climate change victims say aid falls short
What does it make you think of? Does it make your heart bleed a little bit and make you want to help all these poor people cope with the horrors of climate change?
Yeah, me either. Maybe I would take these jokers a little more seriously if there was more environmentalist rhetoric, but instead it’s just this tripe over and over again. This isn’t about drowning polar bears. It is about taking our money and technology and giving it to somebody else… And the more guilt they can lay on, the more people’s hearts they will get to bleed a little bit. That’s why we are the global warming public enemy number one.
So what benefit do we really get from being part of the “great” United Nations? I have heard people argue that we are part of the security council, and as such we should remain… But what does that mean? We get to tack our name on to “condemnations” and empty sanctions? In actuality, we get so diluted by the UN that our status as a world superpower is all but lost. Rogue states like Iraq and Iran laugh when the UN makes its empty gestures against them. That is why we went around the UN when we went after Iraq. The UN is absolutely impotent when it comes to legitimate action which is why rogue states all but ignore them.
I suspect that part of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s attitude is due to the fact that the UN is a joke. It’s a hollow threat. If you want to make a statement, what a better approach: using the UN to make a condemnation or the United States, the country who just whooped your neighbor all over the desert, issuing a threat of force?
I can tell you this much, part of being a superpower is not having to legitimize your actions through an organization that does a better job of squabbling amongst themselves than actually taking action. Sure, fine, call me whatever you want. I am an arrogant American. So what? We have the power and there is no reason for us to feel bad about it, which certainly seems to be one of the underlying goals of the United Nations.
So, United Nations, it’s been fun. Thanks for the memories and the cool blue hats. But it’s time for us to leave your little party. Go and save the world from the dreaded global warming monster. We have better things to do.

well said, so what should we do? Try to generate a “contact your rep” campaign? Maybe I will look into what candidates support our “extortion” by these bums. Thats what they are, dirty bums with a change cup looking for a handout…
What I dont understand is why after all the shit they have given us, and as fucking useless to the US as they’ve been. Never mind being their major fucking meal ticket, why do we even let them hang out here?
Were paying an awful lot of rent for what ?
Pack it up bitch ! I’m gonna call your ugly ass a cab.
Sorry I ever met you ! Wait in the garage, I dont want the neighbors to see you.
I just checked my news feeds this morning and my new favorite Bali headline is this:
“Private money must play key role in fighting climate change”
So now the UN wants to make sure that the private sector gets boned as well. No wealth governments. No private wealth. We might as well all live on a global commune and sing songs and join hands while we all live happily ever after!
Damn the UN sucks.
I have long felt the UN was a home for the degenerates and Power Mongers that hate democracy, freedom and The West.
Yes, it is time to say goodbye and save our money!
I linked back to you the other day about your post on Saving marriages will help the enviroment.
I couldn’t agree with you more on the UN, but should this automatically mean we should be sceptical of global warming?
I sometimes worry that credible precautions are being lost in the politics.
A terrible idea. We should keep the UN.
Just start charging them for rent in NY. Yes, that’s right, charge them to rent the land that the UN building sits on. Say maybe to the tune of, I don’t know, $1 Billion per month?
No, scratch that, 1 Billion EU, since it will hurt our supposed European “Allies” that much more.
Maybe if the Europeans weren’t so self loathing they would fight back against all the poor nations that want their “fair share” and stop this type of nonsense.
And really, if other countries such as Iraq and Iran can flaunt UN decisions, why can’t the USA do so as well if they try and hand down some ridiculous resolution on global warming (or anything else for that matter)?
What are they going to do, invade the US with a raping and pillaging, er, I mean “peacekeeping” force?
The UN diplomats do so well paying their tickets etc I’m sure the rent check would bounce.
See ya.
Wait Anthony !
Yes , yes, we should be skeptical of gerbal warming !
We should make anyone who says it pay a fine !
I think maybe everyone here is just tired of repeating themselves. But I will gladly point out with you all the reasons to shit can the hustle of the century.
The UN has outlived it’s usefullness.
“There is only one major flaw here, and that is people like us who see right through their insidious plans.”
I am just afraid there aren’t enough of us out there. It seems as though everyone on the left has bought into it, and many on the right.
Remember John Kerry’s “global test”? He was willing to ask the UN if it would be alright for the US to defend herself. I think too many on the other side of the aisle feel this way. And those people are socialists anyway, so a global redistribution of wealth probably sounds like a good idea to them.
I will be skeptical of global warming until people can separate science from politics and discuss the whole climate change thing openly and honestly. As it stands right now, the climate change “debate” is nothing more than a vehicle for the collectivists to push their agenda on the rest of us (and make a boatload of money doing it too). I haven’t yet seen any compelling evidence as to the legitimacy of global warming, and if the scientists really “know” what’s going on they need to stand as scientists, not as politicians.
Personally I would like to know if the UN buys carbon offsets to make their New York headquarters carbon neutral. Or if they offset all of their jetsetting and global “conferences.” Do they practice what they preach, or are they above it all?
I think that the tides will turn. People are starting to get tired of all of the self loathing and demands that we have to cut our lifestyles to save the planet.
You are right in so many ways…
I too, have been warning of the Socialist take-over of our country but the American people ar very slow at waking up. Worse yet the politicians never wake up until it’s too late.
There is definitive proof that the very people we (I shouldn’t say “we” for it was definitely not me) elected to office are indeed co-conspirators in this globalization effort. The cabal has been working for several generations to undermine this Constitutional way of life and the leaders of that underground cospiratorial group have the power to control the American electorate such that the traitors from within begin to emerge unnoticed by the very voters who put them in office. The Clintons are the insiders that rot the soul of the nation for they hasve truly emerged as traitors…but the Amercan voter is still blind.
These guys are a wild bunch, pretty funny sometimes.
But they have good take on this as well.
The Antisocialist turned me on to them.

ah, the Antisocialist. I miss that guy…
Good find though, I’ve subscribed to them and have made them one of my daily reads.
Thanks for the plug, Micky.
I miss A/S as well
