Barack “Showboat” Obama strikes again

Is anybody else getting tired of Obama’s sad and juvenile showboating? I mean, the guy could take the olympic gold for diverting the world’s attention away from the real issues by his shameless showboating over the little things that have really no interest, relevance or meaning to the rest of us. Today’s showboat d’jour is his lifting of the federal funding ban for stem cell research. While this is a good thing because it should never have been banned to begin with, it’s still pretty much irrelevant to our current state. Besides, why should the government be funneling money into stem cell research anyway? Aren’t there private companies and schools that do this sort of work? I guess it’s just another rathole for the federal government to toss money at and mismanage into uselessness.

Sadly I don’t know if he’s insulting our intelligence or simply playing into the child-like attention spans of the American Idol generation. Either way, he’s proving nothing more than his ability to get people excited over absolutely nothing. Swell. At least when his policies finally sink America he’ll be able to misdirect American’s interests by showboating another “Bush-era” repeal or police academy funding in Ohio…

Are you joking? The whole stem cell research is a diversion thing is straight from the right wing talking points. President Obama has been multi-tasking and tackling all the big issues since day one. He can’t talk about the economy 24/7…

I’m growing really tired of hearing moonbats give Obama credit for chewing gum and walking at the same time. When he really should be doing his job and shuttin up at the same time.
    The campaign is over.
I agree Ryan. Whenever anyone accuses “the one” of doing something thats just not important at the time more often than not I hear this grammatical trophy “multi-tasking get thrown out there. Since when did we start acting as if doing two things at once was some novel knew talent ? Its just another one of those fancy names they attach to shit thats been done all the time so as to seem elitist in their concepts.
“Social justice”, dont we have justice system for that ? “Spending initiatives” used to be “ear marks”, now they’re investments. Arent we paying interest on our own “investments” before we know if, and regardless if, theres really any profit ? WYF ?

Ya know, When things were going pretty rough in Iraq did we hear Bush fighting with Al Franken or Janine Garafolo, or anyone sayin the dems couldnt decide who their leader was ?
    F kin rirdiculous.
The other diversional red meat is this meeting with the Taliban.
‘Oh, hey ! I know what’l take their minds off my idiocy, throw something else out there thats just as stupid but is sure to get em all yapping and forget for a while that my hand is in their ass pocket.’
    Dont you know ?
Our healthcare cost so much today because if research like stem cell is left to the private sector healthcare will only increase. Now we can get taxed up the ass for the research that will yeild the same results based on subjective science that really isnt science once more we have any partisan interest in it.
Just like with global warming, if we let the fed get ahold of the science the debate will be over but money will still get poured into the movement just to keep the dollars flowin.

Hey bucky, you call it multi-tasking, I call it showboating. I don’t want him to talk about the economy 24/7. In fact, I don’t want him to talk about the economy at all. I want him to stay the hell away from it. On the other hand, he’s diverting attention away from the fact that he’s uttrerly clueless and floudering helplessly in the issue by showbating irreverant issues like stem cell research. Hell, if all else fails, stir up the masses with a good show – so people like you can get all whipped up and excited over his great multi-tasking skills – eh? You must feel so proud to be played like a good little subject :)
